Halo 3 IS the fastest selling game ever, so I think you know the answer. The best game (to me) out there would have to be the Orange Box. Let's face it, it's got 5 of the best PC shooters on one disc. What else is there to say?What is the best xbox 360 game out and which gameis better between CoD 4, Halo 3 %26amp; Orange Box %26amp; why?
Get the Orange Box, it's 5 games in 1 although Halo 3 and COD 4 both have great multiplayer the single player modes are short. You can play online multiplayer on Team Fortress 2 from the Orange Box. Also Halo 3 is meant to be a bit if a disappointment, I've liked the Halo series but know it can get repetitive and doesn't really do anything new in gameplay or storytelling especially when compared to Half-Life 2 and Episodes 1 and 2.
Call of Duty 4. The campaign (single-player) is so immense. It is a little short (6-8 hours of gameplay) but it is a great campaign mode. The online is awesome. It has almost as many people as Halo 3 and you can customize your weapons, unlock new ones, and use ';perks'; that will give your player special abilities (like running faster, deeper bullet penetration, drop a grenade when you die.)
I bought halo3 the day it came out, i played it for maybe 1 1/2 weeks and got bored of it. The maps arn't that good and they changed the weapons too much IMO. If you really liked the halo2 multi-player you will probably be let down, i was. I bought CoD 4 the other day, the graphics are a lot better than Halo3. The only problem is the game is doing better than they planned so the servers are getting overloaded. Yesterday took 20min to get into a game, today was fine though. Also if the host leaves mid game, the whole game ends. That happened once so far. A week from now i might be bored, but not as of yet. In Halo3 you could be really good at the game, but put on bad teams that lose and your rank won't go up. CoD4 they rank on individual play which i like. I haven't played the Orange Box, the only game that looked interesting to me was TF2.
Personally I have liked Halo 3 and CoD 4...
Although campaing is a disappointment, they are still great online games...
But CoD 4 did not stand against Halo 3 much...
As gamers wherent excited, as no one like the Call of Duty World War II series. (Which are 1-3)
The Orange Box is stupid, it is just a good buy if you didnt play any of the games of Half-Life and Team Fortress and Portal...(Which were all created originally by Valve, creators of Counter-Strike.)
Orange Box is like putting Halo:Combat Evolved, Halo 2 , Halo 3 in one game...
And Call of duty 1, 2, 3 together .
Get CoD4 If you have online multiplayer. I heard the campaign is only 5 hours long.
Get Halo 3 if you want to know how the series ends or if you've played Halo:CE and Halo 2.
I didn't get Orange Box yet. I need to pick it up.
